This 11-storey social housing rental apartment and social service centre project achieved LEED Gold certification using geothermal heat pumps, air source heat pumps, and a variety of energy efficient design features. The building was designed to meet BC Housing standards and houses studio suites, 1BR suites, 2BR suites, cafeteria, commercial kitchen, shower facility, laundry facility and other support spaces. Notable design features include custom low noise 12” high slim hydronic make-up air unit, full electric back-up boiler, dedicated domestic hot water air source heat pump, etc.
Raymond was the lead designer for this project while at MCW.
