This market rental apartment building project was a complete renovation of an existing building at 1770 Davie Street. This multi-phased full renovation project involved careful coordination of commercial tenant system adjustments, incoming main adjustments, new retail building addition, building envelop modification, full plumbing system upgrade/replacement, new corridor make-up air addition, and new air source VRF heating/cooling system addition. The systems were carefully coordinated to utilize limited shaft space, limited roof top space, and other existing restrictions. VRF units were spread on the roof to distribute the weight. Custom vertical make-up air unit was designed to maximize available rooftop space.
